The ground breaking ceremony for the new factory in China has been celebrated in December 2011. Kunshan has a population of over a million and around 40 km to the west of Shanghai. The production hall with administration building is being built in two phases and will then have a floor area of around 15,000 m2.
With this step towards expansion, we are meeting the customer requirements and demand of the fast growing car market in China. The new plant will start production at the beginning of 2013. In the initial phase, the production programme will cover transmission assemblies, sensor components and solenoid assemblies.
