Our manufacturing technologies

The path to a perfect product

1. Concept Design

In the concept design phase, we hold intensive discussions with our customers: What manufacturing possibilities are available? What are the resulting requirements? Which injection moulding process is the most suitable? What is the best constructional design for inserts and plastic parts? What are the most suitable joining techniques? This is when the answers are more important than the questions. This is because at this early stage we define the most efficient manufacturing methods and the final results that we want.
Our aim is: reliability. This is because the choice of a specific technology and manufacturing concept needs to prove the test of time.

2. Development Phase

We only start actual product development after all the parameters have been defined in the testing and process plans, and also in the specifications, down to the very last detail. Our developers and project managers have at their disposal ultramodern workplaces with various standard 2-D and 3-D systems (including CatiaV5, Pro-Engineer and UG-NX). The knowledge gained from simulations and testing is input directly into the ongoing development process.

Fill simulations (mould-flows) of plastic parts are carried out for injection moulding processes. Our engineers then analyze and assess, and find solutions that are then precisely documented in our CAQ system. Of course, this also includes the creation of FMEAs for system, design, and process

3. Production Preparation

As product development advances, the developers and the procurement department createspecifications for the procurement and assembly of the systems, injection moulding and stamping tools , special fixtures, robotic systems and other manufacturing items required . Our in-house tooling and process experts specify, together with the suppliers, the necessary tools and plant parts, producing prototypes that are then released for later production purposes after The documents PPAP are then handed over to the customer and the tools and plant parts are released for serial production.

4. Production Start-up

Production start-up is carried out in close consultation with the customer. In a precisely defined customer audit, the manufacturing process and product is released for volume production and an ongoing improvement process is then initiated. Each and every step is carefully documented.
